Andre Flynn ’85 was a four-year letterman for the Transylvania men’s basketball team. He was named the team’s outstanding freshman in 1982, was a team captain and MVP in both 1984 and 1985, and was named the Transy Male Athlete of the Year in 1984. At the time of his graduation, he was the fourth-leading scorer in the history of the program with 1,670 points. He still ranks eighth on the all-time list. He was a NAIA District All-American, and he played on Transy’s 1983-84 NAIA Regional Tournament team.
