Jerry Jenkins ’62 was an outstanding baseball and basketball player during his Transylvania career. He lettered in baseball for four years, playing on a KIAC Championship team as a senior that posted a 14-1 record. He later coached high school baseball and basketball, leading one team into the quarterfinals of the KHSAA Boys State Tournament.
